THANKS to everybody who was hanging out at Tommy’s Winebar last night, Wednesday, February 24. Todd and I had a blast – as usual. But there were SO many friends in the house who were GREAT LISTENERS, that it seemed like an extra-special event!

COUSINS! Andy and Glenna Gillentine are in town to visit grand babies and hear some live music. They’re also running the Rock n Roll Marathon Sunday. What an ambitious weekend!
Jesse and Vanessa! Y’all need to come back and SING next time!
The regulars…Paul, Todd Duke and Johnny “Styles” Willis
Thanks to Sarah Haynes and Emily for bringing a crew to the Wednesday Night Music Party.
Thanks to all the others who escaped without having their picture taken! You won’t get away so easily next time…
I’m excited to have some semi-regular work at this swank, new venue, Public Belt. On the second floor of the Riverside Hilton, Public Belt harkens to the Prohibition-era when the Public Belt Railroad was responsible for bringing people from all over the country to the Crescent City.
I’m performing Saturday, February 13 from 9pm-12 and Thursday, February 18 from 4pm-7.

Thanks to everyone who came out (and the regulars who continue to come out) to help CELEBRATE another Wednesday night at Tommy’s Winebar. The band, which featured Todd Duke, Barry Stephenson and myself, had TOO MUCH fun! And that only happens when we have a great audience in the house…
The band made some new friends (maybe fans?!) in Katie and Brittany from New Mexico! Katie says “It’s just like Mexico, only newer…”
Theo and Nancy, from Cincinnati, drove 1200 miles to hear Todd Duke play! Or maybe they had other business in town…still, they seek out Todd whenever they come to New Orleans.
John Willis, aka Jonny Styles, pictured here with Tommy’s own Elle. Smoking’ hot, beautiful people at Tommy’s Winebar on Wednesday nights!

. Ya think I had a good time??
I’m happy to be part of an original music project that began yesterday with a smashing first rehearsal. It’s fun – and rewarding to my fragile psyche – to CREATE. And that is what TOKLE is all about. Links to a webpage that will feature the usual brand of music, pics and utter ridiculousness will follow. Until then, check out the Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/TOKLE/703601049783789
